The Cousin Cabana
A small space designed for a family to come together! The Cousin Cabana is a 480-sq-ft cabin, designed by Un.Box Studio. The space is situated on a 5-acre plot of land near downtown Austin that's belonged to its owners since the 1970's. Situated among a lush greenery, next to a river, it's the perfect retreat to come to and relax in.
The interior features a mixed-use space that combines a kitchen, living room, and dining area. There's also a small wood deck outside! The Cousin Cabana was built using natural materials that would require minimal maintenance, including ipe wood rain screen siding, floor-to-ceiling windows and board-formed concrete planters.
