The Juniper From Backcountry Tiny Homes


Check out this beautiful tiny home from the Pacific Northwest!

Nicknamed the Juniper, the home is designed and built by Backcountry Tiny Homes. If you've been following the tiny house movement even a little bit over the past year, you may recognize Backcountry's work as the designers behind The Basecamp; an iconic dog-friendly tiny home with a rooftop deck!

The Juniper spans 190 sq ft on the ground floor, and a total of 290 sq ft with the loft space included. The home measures 24' x 8'6" x 13'6" and weighs around 15,000 lbs. Its exterior features beautiful sealed cedar and faux rorest green metal. Inside the home, Backcountry used sealed and painted white spruce for the walls with a beatlekill panel ceiling, and engineered dark walnut hardwood floors.

Also included in the home's interior is a master bedroom in the home's loft, a second loft that's perfect for a guestroom or reading nook, a full kitchen, bathroom, and a living room. There's also on-grid hookups for electricity and water, a propane on-demand water heater, and a propane powered appliances for cooking and heating. 

The turnkey version of the Juniper also includes a fully-furnished kitchen with a fridge/freezer, a range and vented hood, cabinets, butcherblock countertops, a lazy susan, and a 24" sink. There's even a leaflet table provided for dining, a sofa and ottoman for the living room, and an abundance of storage provided throughout the home.
