College of the Sequoias Tiny House (289 Sq Ft)

This year was the first for the Sacramento Municipal Utility District's Tiny House Competition and there was plenty of new designs and innovations for tiny houses on display!

The entry from College of Sequoias was a beautiful 289 sq ft tiny home. The home features solar panels, heated floors, a full kitchen, living room, bathroom, and loft bedroom. According to the Visalia Times, the home took 2 years to build and continued right up until the day of competition!

The home ended up taking three awards at the competition, includes People's Choice and Curb Appeal.
