Slow Town Tiny House (204 Sq.Ft.)

Located in Pyeongchang-gun, South Korea, the Slow Town Tiny House is a project by DNC Architects and The Plus Partners. Completed in 2016, this small house spans an area of 19 square meters. It is part of the larger "Slow Town" initiative aimed at addressing the shortage of accommodations in Gangwon City, the host city for the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic Winter Games. The project also seeks to provide easy access to the region's beautiful natural landscapes.

With a focus on sustainability, the Tiny House of Slow Town utilizes minimal wooden modules in its construction. This approach minimizes the use of materials while maximizing the available housing facilities. The project aims to preserve the pristine and clean environment of Gangwon city, which is known for its natural beauty.

The interior of the tiny house features a bedroom in the garret area, furnished with a large bed and adorned with black decorated railings. Natural light enters through a slender window in the roof space. The design incorporates double height in the interior to create a flexible space that allows for movement and relaxation.
