The Swedish Mini House

It's the Mini House! A prefabricated modular home that gets delivered to you flat-packed, and is then built on-site over a two-day period. The home's "kit" comes with framing, walls, roofing and windows. The home's walls are designed with an insulating polystyrene core with plywood or plastic laminate. This type of insulation is usually used for the construction of floating homes to retain heat and keep moisture down.

The home is designed by Swedish designer, Jonas Wagell, in collaboration with the Swedish architecture firm, Sommarnöjen. There are now a wide range of sizes offered, from 161 to 753 sq ft.

The approximate cost for the home pictured is $26,675 USD.
