The Calico Home was created by industrial design students at the Columbus College of Art for their senior thesis project. The 152-sq-ft home was built using a 20’ shipping container; a project that highlights the potential in recycled shipping containers! It can be trailer-mounted or park installed.
The space has been transformed into a bright, modern space that would be perfect for use as an accessory dwelling, guesthouse, home office, man cave/lady lair, etc. Not only would the Calico Home be a great addition to any property, it will also helps students continue to further design innovations!
