Top Tiny Houses of 2016


The last day of 2016 is here, so I thought I'd compile a list of the tiny houses that people loved the most this year. Quite a few off-grid ones and a few park model homes! Take a look and be sure to click on the blue subtitles to see more photos and read up more about the tiny house:

A 304 sq ft tiny house, built by Alabama Tiny Homes. It has a beautiful contemporary exterior and a stunning interior with everything you need to live comfortably.

This beautiful solar-powered house is from Tiny Heirloom and based in Hawaii!



#8: Waterhaus 

A modern prefab home with just 450 sq ft of space. Designed and built by Green Pod Development, the home is solar powered and made from eco-friendly materials!



#7: The Sapphire House 

A beautiful, blue tiny home from luxury home builder, Tiny Heirloom. The home is also off-grid and solar powered!



#6: Notarosa Tiny House

The Notarosa was designed and built by Titan Tiny Homes, just outside of Chicago. Measuring just 250 sq ft, the home has everything you need and plenty of options for customization!




#5: Kropf Island Series Home

This three-bedroom park model home spans just under 400 sq ft. There's also a kitchen, living room, and bathroom. All yours for around $65,000!



#4: Cobleskill RV Vacation Home 

Designed and built by Lil' Lodges, this home now serves as a vacation retreat for a family in upstate New York. There's room for two adults and two children, and there's even a fireplace!



#3: The Salish Luxury Cottage

This beautiful 399 sq ft cottage is one of many available for sale at the luxury Wildwood Cottages resort on Lake Whatcom in Washington. It's a little expensive at $312,500 but is undeniably stunning.



#2: The Tack House

Situated in Everett, Washington, this 140 sq ft tiny house is available for rent via Airbnb. It took 800 man hours to build and cost between $15,000 to $20,000 to build.



#1: Comfy 392 Sq Ft Cabin in the Woods

This cozy two bedroom cabin in upstate New York spans just 392 sq ft! The home is handmade and is classified as a park model RV. Built by Escape Homes, the home features an enclosed porch and a fireplace!
