The NOMAD Tiny House (100 Sq Ft)

NOMAD by Dominique Moody

Designed and built by Los Angeles-based artist, Dominique Moody, the NOMAD (an acronym for Narrative, Odyssey, Manifesting, Artistic, Dreams) took three years to make and was constructed using "found objects", and recycled redwood and Doulas fir wood.

The home was featured in the Los Angeles Times, which discussed Dominique'sinspirations for the home which included her life growing up with a father in the military and her African American roots. The home is also a celebration for Dominique to mark 20 years of living in LA as an artist.

The NOMAD spans about 100 sq ft in total and Dominique lives in the home full time. She usually has it parked at the Zorthian Ranch in Altadena, California, although she has plans to take the home on the road!
