The HiLoft Shipping Container Home

Shipping containers are gaining popularity as a housing option. They’re a great way to recycle, inexpensive, and with the right design, stylish.

One great example of a shipping container home is the HiLoft, a home deigned by the German architecture firm, Flying Architecture. Three walls of the home’s interior are wood panels, while one whole wall is made of glass to maximize the natural light in the home. The home is also mobile, and can be picked of and dropped off just about anywhere.
