In North County San Diego, a homeowner recognized the advantages of building an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) to accommodate her aging mother. Seeking a more affordable and desirable alternative to assisted living centers and nursing homes, she turned to Cottage for assistance in creating a beautiful home within reach for her mother.
With a clear vision in mind, the homeowner wanted the new ADU to complement her existing house, which boasted rustic motifs and elegant landscaping along the California hillside. Building an ADU presented significant benefits for her mother's living situation.
