Miss.Twain by Tiny House Baluchon

Miss.Twain, built by Tiny House Baluchon in the outskirts of Nantes, France, is a charming and cozy tiny house inspired by The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Cécile, the owner, has created a mobile home that reflects her love for the story and intends to live in the house full-time in Normandy.

The house features a spacious porch with a chestnut balustrade where someone can relax and enjoy a book outdoors. Inside, there is a convertible sofa in the living room that can accommodate two guests if needed. A wood stove provides warmth during the winter months. A small attic-style mezzanine, accessible by a removable ladder, offers storage space for larger belongings.

The kitchen is equipped with a folding oak table for two and a functional workspace with all the necessary amenities for cooking meals. A removable ladder also leads to the upstairs bedroom, which features a 140x190cm bed.

The bathroom includes dry toilets with a stainless steel bucket and chip compartment, along with an 80x80cm shower.

The construction and materials used for Miss.Twain includes a Baluchon trailer with a length of 6 meters and a framework made of class 2 spruce. The insulation consists of cotton, linen, and hemp for the floor, walls, and ceiling. The windows and doors are made of mixed wood and aluminum joinery with double glazing. The exterior features red cedar cladding with a UV saturator and aluminum trays with standing seams. Inside, the paneling is made of white raw spruce and planed natural spruce. The heating is provided by a wood stove, and ventilation includes VMC double-flow Lunos and an air extractor. The electrical equipment features Legrand switchgear and LED lighting.

Overall, Miss.Twain offers a cozy and functional living space, with careful attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. The inviting porch adds an extra touch of charm, allowing for outdoor breakfasts and relaxation.
