Jen's "Tiny Mansion" Home

Boulder, CO // 450 Sq.Ft. // $170,000 // By Mitchcraft Tiny Homes

Jen's Tiny Home is a custom-built home, by Mitchcraft Tiny Homes for a single mom with two children. The home's owner has nicknamed the house the "Tiny Mansion" due to the home's larger-than-usual size. Measuring 34' x 10', and with an interior total of about 450 sq.ft., it certainly is on the bigger end of the tiny house spectrum.

The Tiny Mansion has a shed-style roof and an impressive array of 14 windows, 4 skylights, and inviting French doors, meaning that natural light is ever-present. The home is built on a triple-axle trailer, ensuring mobility and flexibility for Jen's adventures. A spacious kitchen features quartz countertops, a four-burner gas stove and oven, a deep farmhouse sink, an apartment-size fridge, and ample cabinet space with open shelving.

Initially budgeted at $150,000, the project incurred additional expenses of $20,000 due to unforeseen delays and supply cost increases during the challenging times of the Covid pandemic. Nevertheless, the result is nothing short of extraordinary.

Functionality meets creativity with the storage stairs, ingeniously doubling as a pantry and shoe storage. The full bathroom impresses with a trough tub and a washer/dryer combo to save space.

The Mini Mansion also has two loft spaces. The master loft bedroom comfortably accommodates a king-sized bed, thoughtfully adorned with built-in shelving and complemented by a skylight overhead. A second loft provides further versatility to the space.

The living room features an electric fireplace, adding a touch of coziness and warmth to the overall ambiance. And not to be forgotten, the home's exterior cleverly includes built-in storage space, offering a perfect solution for storing sporting equipment and other belongings. Jen's Tiny Home is a great example of innovative design and practical living.
