Cabu Cabin
Designed by London-based architecture firm, Kennedy Twaddle, these cabins available at Cabü Holiday Hideaways offer a range of beautifully designed accommodations with luxurious interiors. Each cabin features cozy log burners, superfast WiFi, smart TVs, fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms, and a private timber deck with a gas barbecue.
The cabins are available in various configurations. The one-bedroom cabins can be booked as traditional cozy studio cabins or larger contemporary loft cabins, making them ideal for couples seeking a romantic hideaway. The two-bedroom Beach House cabins have a large double bed and a bunk room, making them perfect for families or friends sharing. For larger groups, the family-sized three-bedroom Boathouses sleep up to six people. All cabins provide direct access to the swimming pool and the beach.
Located on privately owned grassland between Romney Marsh and the English Channel, Cabü by the Sea offers an intimate retreat with immediate beach access and miles of coastline to explore. Guests can enjoy the seasonal heated pool, hot tubs, and sauna, or relax and socialize in the open-air summerhouse. The central Cabü House serves as a hub where guests can pick up groceries, arrange picnics, and get information from the staff about local attractions.
The Cabü cabins are part of a prefabricated modular building system developed by the company. The main structure is made of glulam timber, which is visible internally, while SIP panels are used for the walls, suspended floor, and roof. The cabins are finished with aluminum-framed glazing and offer a selection of claddings, including shiplap timber, fiber cement panels, waney-edged timber, and brick slips. The design development process involved creating numerous sketch models and using standard material dimensions to determine the size of the units.
