The Overlook Tiny House

A cozy desert retreat that gives its guests a chance to unwind and getaway.

Located east of Temecula, California, is The Overlook; a luxury tiny house getaway. The home's thoughtful design packs everything you need into a limited amount of space.

The kitchen provides ample prep space, a two-burner stove top, a fridge/freezer combo, and large kitchen sink. The most interesting part of the kitchen is its 10' countertop. It's made from a tree that fell in Balboa Park, and was transferred from a rough piece of wood and, into a kitchen counter space.

The home's queen bed lays cantilevered over the a L-couch below. Accessible by a step-ladder, the bed lays alongside a horizontal window that allows for sunset views. There's even a custom shelf and night light to allow reading late into the night.

The home's bathroom has been nicknamed the "100 hour bathroom" for the amount of time it took to construct. The rainfall shower is encased in a beautiful deep teal tile. There's also an award-winning Swedish composting toilet.

The best part of The Overlook is its small outdoor patio, giving breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.
