Teewah From Aussie Tiny Houses
This home was custom built tiny house for a family of four (who you can follow on IG here). Designed and built by Aussie Tiny Houses, a builder based in Queensland, the home is as beautiful as it is functional.
The home's exterior is the perfect mix of modern and rustic with black galvanized steel used for the home, and a wood deck addition to the front.
Inside, the home is light and bright.
The home's owners added an L-shaped sofa and an accent wall to show off family photographs.
Just above the living room, is one of the home's two loft bedrooms; accessible by a ladder.
The home's galley kitchen has an operable window that opens up the house to fresh air.
The kitchen, 2.7-meters long, features wood countertops and ample drawer storage.
There's also a two-burner stove, oven and dining space with room to tore stools under the counter.
The builder used a glass door which allows the home to be naturally illuminated with sunlight during the day.
The family's two children each have their own twin-sized bed in their shared loft.
To add more storage into the small space, cupboards and shelves were built into the master loft's staircase.
On the other end of the home, opposite of the living room, is the home's bathroom.
For privacy a pocket door was added- perfect for cutting down on space.
The bathroom has wood countertops with a uniquely styled white ceramic bowl sink.
It also doubles as the home's laundry room with a washer/dryer combo tucked under the counter.
Also in the bathroom is a tiled shower, shelving, hooks for towels, and an window that can be opened for ventilation.
The master bedroom is accessible up a flight of stairs
The main bedroom has enough space to fit a king-sized bed.
There are two sliding windows on either side of the room, plus a skylight over head.
Outlets, located right next to the bed, will allow the owners to easily charge their phones or plug in a laptop to watch a movie.
To add extra storage to the kids' loft, hanging baskets were added.
The Teewah, move-in ready, sells for $93,900 AUD ( approximately $61,373 USD).
The home's dimensions are 7.2m (L) x 2.4m (W) x 4.3m (H) with about 210-sq-ft of space inside
The owner's had a beautiful outdoor living space added, with a covered L-shaped deck, an outdoor couch and a bartop with dining space for 4 people.
