A Tiny House in Maine (220 Sq Ft)

What's it like living in a tiny house in the winter? For Freeport-based couple Robin Bienenstock and Nic Ledoux, it's doable!

The couple helped design their own 220 sq ft tiny house, moved in August of 2016, and are now enjoying their first winter in their tiny house. According to the Bangor Daily News, the couple had originally spent time living in tents as they explored 14 national parks, so they were no strangers to living in small spaces.

Robin and Nic worked with a builder in New York to create their one-of-a-kind home. It's built to withstand a chilly winter and even comes with a full kitchen to accommodate Nic's love for cooking. There's also a woodstove to keep the house warm and snug during a cold Maine winter.

The home was built on wheels so it's perfectly mobile. Currently, Robin and Nic have their house parked at a campground in Freeport, Maine.
