Contemporary Tiny House on Wheels

When they decided to start putting down roots and buy a house, Brian and Joni Buzarde decided to go the do-it-yourself route. With Brian’s skills as a recent architect grad, they designed this 236-square-foot trailer named “Woody”.

The home is mounted on a 26-foot flatbed the couple purchased for $7,000. Made with an exterior of cedar, the home has high, angled ceilings giving the house a contemporary look.

The whole home was designed and built for around $50,000. The home is portable and has even made a move from Austin, Texas, to Marble, California. However, the Buzarde’s made the decision to rest it permanently on their 5-acre lot in California. They plan to live in the home up until they start a family.
